Embroidered Patches

Embroidered patches are stitched with polyester or rayon thread onto a twill backing. The raised stitching gives the design real texture and a classic, premium feel. We match your colors from a wide thread range and can run anywhere from partial coverage to full 100% embroidery, depending on the look you want. They wash well and keep their detail for years, which is why they are the standard choice for uniforms and team gear.

PVC Patches

PVC patches are molded from soft rubber instead of fabric. They are waterproof, UV stable, and built for the outdoors, so the colors do not fade or bleed in rain, sun, or mud. The mold can be flat 2D or fully 3D with sharp raised detail, and we color-match to your brand. Most tactical and outdoor crews pair these with a velcro backing.

Leather Patches

Leather patches give a product a high-end, handmade look. We offer genuine and faux (PU) leather, and your design can be debossed, embossed, laser engraved, or combined with embroidery. They have become a favorite for leather patch hats, denim, and bags, where a subtle textured logo does more work than a printed one.

Chenille Patches

Chenille patches use thick looped yarn on a felt base to create that soft, fuzzy, raised varsity texture. They are usually finished with an embroidered outline or a merrowed border to hold their shape. If you have seen the big letters on a letterman jacket, that is chenille.

Sublimation (Printed) Patches

Sublimated patches are dye printed onto polyester fabric, so they reproduce photographs, gradients, fine shading, and small text that thread simply cannot. The ink fuses into the fabric instead of sitting on top, so it stays vibrant and will not crack. They are also one of the most cost-effective options for complex, full-color artwork.

Detailed or photo-based logos, gradients and shading, promotional giveaways, budget-friendly bulk runs.

woven patches shine

Woven Patches

Woven patches are made on a loom with much finer threads than embroidery, which gives a thin, flat, smooth surface. That fine weave captures small text and intricate detail far more cleanly than stitching, and the patch sits flatter on the garment. Best for small sizes and logo-heavy designs.

Small or detailed logos, lettering-heavy designs, lightweight apparel, refined branding.

Patch Backing Options

The backing decides how your patch attaches. We offer four common options and can tell you which suits your product.

Sew-On Backing

The classic and most secure option. The patch is stitched onto the garment by hand or machine, so it holds through heavy washing and daily wear. Best for items you want the patch on permanently.

Iron-On Backing

A heat-activated adhesive on the back. You press it on with an iron or heat press, no sewing required. Great for quick application and DIY, though sew-on is still stronger for items washed often.

Velcro Backing (Hook-and-Loop)

A two-piece hook-and-loop backing that lets you attach, remove, and swap patches whenever you want. The standard choice for tactical gear, uniforms, and rotating or limited edition designs.

Adhesive Backing (Peel-and-Stick)

A temporary peel-and-stick back for surfaces where sewing or heat is not an option. Handy for events, giveaways, and short-term branding.


Patch Border & Edge Options

The border is the finished edge of the patch. It changes both the look and which shapes are possible.

Merrowed Border

A thick, overlocked stitched edge that wraps the outside of the patch. It gives a clean, raised frame and works best on simple shapes like circles, ovals, squares, and shields.

Hot-Cut / Laser-Cut Border

The patch is heat or laser-cut to seal the edge with no extra stitching. This allows complex and custom shapes a merrowed border cannot follow, with a slim, modern finish.

Embroidery Coverage

On embroidered patches you also choose how much of the twill is stitched over. Partial coverage (around 50% to 75%) leaves some fabric showing for a lighter, two-tone look. Full 100% embroidery covers the whole face for a solid, premium finish.
